St Briavels Castle (4)~Abstract Watercolour.~I pass this castle every day on my way to my Gallery. This is the fourth semi-abstract I have created which incorporates the history and natural beauty of St Briavels. Hung Parliament~Atelier Interactive Acrylic~Description:
The 2010 General Election in the UK prompted Mariana to create this piece which represents most of the main political parties. It was originally entitled "Floating Voters" and appeared in press coverage. Mauritius~Watercolour~Description:
Continuing my theme of "places" for my semi-abstract work, this painting was inspired by my visit to Mauritius in 2008. Unfortunately, my hopes of a sunny week there were dashed by continuous rain and floods!! Not much different from Gloucestershire.
